The Sheppard Library
Librarians offer help in person 11:00-15:00 Monday to Friday at StudyHelp, 1st Floor, Sheppard Library during term-time (12:00-14:00 outside term time). At any time you can ask a question via Ask a Librarian and the ticket will be answered the next working day.
Academic Writing; Maths, Stats and Numeracy
- The Learning Enhancement Team support academic writing, language, communication and numeracy.
- For further information, login to MyMDX and select 'Learning' in the Study tile
- Support for specific Faculties and their students.
- Training is provided in class for your students, via open workshops and one-to-one.
Student Learning Assistants
- Peer-to-peer support in class: Go to MyMDX and click on SLAs in the Study tile.
IT for students
- IT support to students, for example software use, printing, video/camera loan & editing, wireless.
- Laptops for loan to students without them.
- For specific help using software, go to the training videos in Linkedin Learning. These can be added to My Learning.

UniHelp
- The University one stop shop for all student enquiries, located in the Sheppard Library.
- Accessible via the internet, chat and phone: +44 (0)20 8411 6060. Students who need a password reset should call this number.
- All issues are logged to ensure they are routed to the correct people to help.
