NHS Knowledge and Library Hub
The NHS Knowledge and Library Hub connects NHS staff and learners to high quality knowledge and evidence resources in one place.
Funded by Health Education England, it includes: journals, books and databases, clinical decision support resources including NICE Guidelines and BMJ Best Practice, policy and management information and research literature, resources purchased nationally and locally.

Open Access: This online resource is freely available to everyone. The Cochrane Library (UK access) is a collection of six databases that contain different types of high-quality, independent evidence to inform healthcare decision-making. It is the main resource for finding Systematic Reviews of the effects of healthcare interventions.

ASMI : American Sports Medicine Institute
ASMI is a professional body that aims to improve the understanding, prevention and treatment of sports related injuries through research and education. The site provides information on courses, news items, weekly sports medicine conferences, ASMI publications, sports safety, a sports medicine forum, and rehabilitation exercises. The research section focuses on how injuries occur, how to improve injury prevention, treatment and rehabilitation. It includes research on sports biomechanics covering basketball, golf, softball, football and tennis, clinical outcomes, shoulder, elbow and knee joint biomechanics, and epidemiology. The Library section includes links to electronic journals, consumer health information and medical websites.
Association for Physical Education
The Association for Physical Education (afPE) is the only physical education and school sport subject association in the UK.
Its purpose is to promote and maintain high standards and safe practice in all aspects and at all levels of physical education, influencing developments in physical education at national and local levels.
National Academy of Sports Medicine

NCSA Certification
National Strength and Conditioning Association 's Certifications:
The CSCS certification is a specialized program that identifies individuals who have demonstrated proficiency in the areas of proper strength and conditioning practices. Those certified individuals have a diverse academic and professional background, including strength coaches, athletic trainers, physical therapists, personal trainers, physicians, chiropractors, researchers and educators.
The NSCA-CPT certification was developed for personal trainers who work with both active and sedentary clients in one-on-one situations in a variety of settings including schools, health and fitness clubs and clients' homes.
NSCA (National Strength and Conditioning Association)
The National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) is the worldwide authority on strength and conditioning and supports and disseminates research-based knowledge and its practical application to improve athletic performance and fitness.

Sport England is the brand name of the English Sports Council, which is a distributor of lottery funds to sport. Sport England aims to lead the development of sport in England by influencing and serving the public, commercial and voluntary sectors.
