We have a direct subscription to the Economist and so pay for full access. The link to The Economist is via our website HERE. It is preferable to go through this pathway as it automatically authenticates to Middlesex University.
Please note, however, that if you use the search box to start searching for articles within The Economist and then click on a title to open up the full text, the article opens in a new tab.
When this happens, The Economist is not transferring over the authentication pathway set up via our Library and The Economist starts treating that person as a visitor.
Clicking on articles in the main page does not cause the same problem because they open in the same window.
Please note that The Economist app is not available to staff or students due to the campus subscription that we hold.
