Welcome to Middlesex University!  Use this guide to find out about the resources available to you from Middlesex University library and how you can access them.

This guide is for BSc Nursing (Adult) students, DipHE and FdSc Nursing Associate students and PGCert Teaching students at TGI University Centre, Guernsey.

As well as the library and other resources available to you in Guernsey, you are able to use the Middlesex University books, journals and databases which are listed on these pages.  You will also find our contact details, information on how to get started with using Middlesex resources, guidance on literature searching and online materials to help you with your academic writing and numeracy skills.

Your Guernsey resources

Your first stop for library resources will be the TGI University Centre Library in Guernsey.  If you're looking beyond the books in the library catalogue, you can search for up-to-date journal articles for your coursework by searching the EBSCOhost platform (login and password can be obtained by contacting library staff) and selecting Choose Databases to choose from the available databases.  These include:

CINAHL ultimate - this is the primary database for nursing literature

Medline complete - medical database

Psychology and Behavioral Sciences Collection

Education Source - education database

 

Login as a Middlesex student

If you haven't already done so, in order to access the library resources provided for you:

If you are asked to login again, enter your short IT username (e.g. AB123) and the same password you use for MyMDX
