This photograph chosen to be displayed in the Sheppard Library is a fascinating close-up of a pigeon. Amber-Lee describes on her website how this was one of a series of photographs showing the bond between animals and humans, especially when pets need medical care - hence the title of the work. This pigeon had been tended by Amber-Lee after it was injured.
Amber-Lee is a photographer who graduated from Middlesex in 2019 and lives and works in London. Discover more about her photography by clicking here.
