Main Library Study Area

The library provides an area for students to work and study.  

  • Moderated voices must used in this area.
  • Mobile phones on silent (including alerts); take phone conversations outside.
  • Do not leave unattended items within the library; items left unattended will be taken to security.
  • Do not consume hot or aromatic food.

To promote social distancing and maintain student safety, students must book online (during alloted hours) to reserve and use the study spaces in both areas of the Library (Block 16 – Ground Floor) and Library Individual Study (Block 4 – Ground Floor).

Study spaces are available for 1 hour 45 minutes per session. Students can book up to 2 session per day (2 x 1h 45m).

Booking are made via the Library website. Click on an available time slot, enter your details and then submit your booking. 

Please remember, that when you register for a desk, you agree that:

  • you will keep the space clean,
  • you will report all faulty computer / AV equipment,
  • you will report all damaged furniture.

Bookings are forfeit after 10 minutes of not showing for a reservation. Unattended belongings may be removed after 15 minutes

Bookings available:

        Sunday to Thursday, 8:00 am - 8:00 pm.

        Saturdays, 9:00 am - 6:00 pm.

The library provides individual rooms for students to work.

  • Do not leave unattended items; items left unattended will be removed by security.
  • Do not consume hot or aromatic food.
