Kanopy is an online streaming service for films and documentaries. You can access Kanopy from any device, including IOS and Android.
To access this service login to MyMDX > Study > Library > Library: Quick Links > Databases > K > Kanopy
Content includes: Popular documentaries, Oscar Winners and Nominees, Classic Films, Independent Films.
Find films by using the search field in Kanopy. Use the Browse option for subject areas and genres.
Also, when you search Library Search it will find films and/or documentaries available on Kanopy relating to your subject terms.
You can use the embed code function to get a code to put Kanopy into My Learning.
If you want you can create your own Kanopy account.
SIGN UP with your MDX Email Address and create a Password of your own choosing. Kanopy will send you an email to verify your account.
Once signed in your account options include: Viewing History, My Dashboard, My Watchlist. You can also create clips from films to show in class and embed these into My Learning, using the embed code functions.
Add a film to a play list. You can then edit to create a short section to show.
