Online Reading Lists Help: Getting Started & Training Sessions

Getting your Reading List Online

Please either:

-      Contact your Librarian, providing your draft reading list

 OR

    Email your list to readinglists@mdx.ac.uk if you don't know your Librarian

Please read the guide attached below for further information:

2) Creating a new list

1. Click My Lists
2. Click Create a New List
3. In the pop-up box, enter the module code and name  in the 'List name' field in the following format:

HRM3011 Contemporary Issues In Human Resource Management

4. Click OK
5. The list is now ready to populate with sections and resources, as described below

1) Becoming a List Publisher

1. You will be invited to be a 'List Publisher' (please see the short guide below)

2. Log-in to myUniHub, Click on Reading Lists in the My Library box and click on 'Sign-in'

2. Go to My Lists. All the lists that you have permission to edit will be displayed here

3. Click on the action drop-down next to the list you want to modify and click Edit

3) Working with sections

Go to the right-hand panel and drag the new section onto the main list panel. The 'Add Section' pop-up appears. Name it, and add a description using the 'Study note' field. Click Save. The section is now ready for you to add resources to it.

5) Requesting a Review

Requesting a review whenever you have made changes to a list is crucial, as this alerts the Library to:

  • Purchase the corresponding items
  • Publish the changes that you have made
