Citing and Referencing

Citing and referencing your work correctly is essential not only to avoid accusations of plagiarism. Correct referencing is important to:

  • demonstrate your reading and hard work,
  • add weight to your argument,
  • provide directions to the original source,
  • assign appropriate recognition to the idea's originator.
