Distance Learners: Welcome

Distance Learning Library Support

The Library at Middlesex University offers a range of services and resources to support all of our students, whether you are based on campus or learning from a distance. To find out more information about the full range of services and resources available to you, please take a look at the Library pages on UniHub.

Once fully enrolled with the University, students are automatically registered with the Library and are entitled to make full use its resources and services. If you did not receive an ID card following enrolment, instructions for obtaining one are available on the next page of this guide.

The library provides a range of services which are particularly useful for distance and work based learners. These include:

  •  UniHelp online: an online enquiry service for all university, general library and distance learning enquiries.
  •  Ask a Librarian: more specific library enquiries, such as how to find resources, help with research, referencing advice, etc.
  •  Chat with a Librarian.

Please take time to have a look through this guide to familiarize yourself with all the services and resources that are available to you as a distance learner.
