Need books? Start at Library Search. Details of all print and electronic books held within the Middlesex University collection can be access via the universal Library Search.

To browse the collection:

• Put relevant keywords into the Library Search query box.
• Select 'Books+' from the boxes drop down menu. 
• Use left-hand filters to narrow down results
• Click on results to see our holdings.  

To search for a specific item:

• Put in a few words from the book title and the author’s family name. 
• Select 'Books+' from the boxes drop down menu. 
• Click on results to see our holdings.  

Sign in to Library Search find out the availability of print item.

Place a 'Request' if the item is already on loan. 7-day loans should be available within a one week period once a request has been placed. 

If the print book is available, note down the shelf number (listed under ‘Location items’). The shelf number takes you directly to the book’s location.  

To access an electronic book follow link; ‘Full text availability​’. If you’re not already logged into UniHub, you’ll be asked to log in. Enter your details and access the book.
