March 2017 will see the Quad transformed into Adventure Island, a space for students to learn how to avoid the choppy waters of exam stress, the stormy seas of assessment anxiety and the doldrums of poor work-life balance.
The SSF is an interactive fair and specifically designed workshops and events. Teams from across the university will fill Adventure Island with games, activities, information and prizes and gifts, all designed to help build connections between you and all the amazing support services Middlesex offers. Adventure Island features four unique zones, each one designed to help you during your time at Middlesex and beyond! Every zone had games, activities and free gifts - all you needed to do is visit them!
Castle Zone: Study skills, employability skills and essay writing help and advice, Erasmus program
Forest Zone: MDXSU, Student Societies and Academic Societies
Volcano Zone: Help and advice for when life gets in the way, Kortext e-books
Waterfall Zone: Mindfulness, sports and recreation, de-stress and good mental health
