Zetoc Alert is a current awareness service provided by the British Library. It provides access to the BLs Electronic Table of Contents of c 20.000 current journals and c 16,000 conference proceedings published every year. The database covers from 1993 to the present, and is updated on a daily basis. It includes current awareness services, so that subscribers can receive notification of relevant new material either from particular journals, authors or on particular subjects.
Email alerts will be sent on the day that new data is loaded on to the database. On average it takes 2-3 days for items to be processed from the time they are received from the publisher, which can be 72 hours after publication. As such, this is a very useful way of keeping up-to-date with new research and articles. Zetoc Alert can be accessed from the Learning Resources webpage under Databases.
